Sub zero installation9/12/2023 ![]() ![]() Installing ri documentation for mysql-2.8.1-x86-mswin32. Successfully installed mysql-2.8.1-x86-mswin32 the gem installation works but for the following documentation I get a lot of error messages, I have no idea if this could be a problem later on.I found a working solution for this issue here:.if I execute "gem update -system" I get an error message that the file "SSLEAY32.dll" is missing.after the setup has been executed, I thought that I should see an installed gem if I run "gem list", but there is still nothing.(now you need the directory "railsapps").but the list should be still empty if it is a fresh installation.after creating a copy of "zlib1.dll" and renaming it to "zlib.dll" the command "gem list" works.if I am not wrong you do not need to download zlib package (step 7), the "zlib1.dll" file which will be installed to the bin directory by the Ruby installer is the same version (1.2.3.0) as the one you can download (I also compared the file content).I am not sure if step 3 makes sense at this point because you need to at least have the file "zlib.dll" installed beforeĬ:/webserver/ruby/lib/ruby/1.8/i386-mswin32/zlib.so: 126: The specified module could not be found.not important but it is a little bit strange/irritating that the installed files from v1.8.6 are newer (11'2009) than v1.8.7 (08'2008).(Redmine 0.8.7, Ruby 1.8.7 on Windows Server 2008 R2)įollowing your guide I have/had the following issues. But I would like to have a own installation.īecause it was not working I already tried a second time without success. ![]() We just using the Bitnami virtual machine version right now. I did not installed Redmine and I have not used Ruby/Rails/. First of all, thanks a lot for this installation overview. ![]()
